Privacy principles

CINTENT should collect, retain, and expose only the information needed for an approved purpose. Domain sensitivity and human review must shape the data path.

  • Minimize collection and separate public metadata from private records.
  • Declare purpose, retention, access, and deletion expectations.
  • Avoid using sensitive data in a public interaction shell.

Trust boundary

Public website boundary

The current public shell does not send or store Ask COGNI questions, audio, transcripts, or private page context. Cookie consent is stored locally and no production analytics is activated by this milestone.

  • Forms are handoff surfaces until an approved backend is connected.
  • Consent state is local to this browser.
  • Legal and privacy language remains subject to formal review.

Trust boundary

Domain-specific privacy

Healthcare, finance and wealth, governance, and other domains require their own data classification, retention, access, and review decisions. A domain page is not a privacy approval.

Control objectives

What should remain explicit

  • No sensitive data should enter a public fixture or public search result.
  • Purpose and retention must be defined before domain data is used.
  • Access, correction, and deletion paths require an approved service boundary.
