Trust boundary

Decision provenance

A decision proposal should carry enough approved context to explain its source, constraints, evidence references, status, and human or system approvals without exposing private chain-of-thought.

  • Reference inputs and policy context.
  • Distinguish proposal from execution.
  • Record confidence categories and review-required status where applicable.

Trust boundary

Audit and replay

Audit records support review of what was proposed, approved, executed, observed, corrected, or escalated. Replay is a controlled reconstruction or simulation boundary, not a claim that every workflow is replayable today.

  • Preserve governance events at an approved retention level.
  • Use replay to inspect sequence, constraints, and recovery behavior.
  • Separate production records from development fixtures.

Trust boundary

Recovery

Recoverable execution requires explicit pause, rollback, compensation, or escalation semantics owned by the domain and application. Public content does not claim an operational recovery guarantee.

Control objectives

What should remain explicit

  • Keep provenance reviewable without exposing hidden reasoning traces.
  • Distinguish audit, replay, simulation, and production evidence.
  • Define recovery ownership before execution is enabled.
