Trust boundary

Human-in-the-loop

A person reviews or approves a proposed action before execution when consequence, policy, uncertainty, or domain regulation requires it.

  • Show the proposal, constraints, provenance, and required action.
  • Allow approve, reject, correct, defer, and escalate outcomes where supported.
  • Record the approval boundary without exposing hidden reasoning.

Trust boundary

Human-on-the-loop

A qualified operator supervises a bounded workflow and can intervene, pause, or recover when policy allows monitored execution.

  • Define monitoring signals and intervention authority.
  • Require an explicit stop or recovery path.
  • Review observations and exceptions after execution.

Trust boundary

Domain review

Healthcare, aerial autonomy, finance and wealth, and public-service workflows require domain-specific oversight profiles. The public site describes patterns, not approvals or outcomes.

Control objectives

What should remain explicit

  • Assign accountable human roles before consequential action.
  • Make intervention and escalation possible at the operating boundary.
  • Retain a reviewable record of approval, correction, and exception.
